Will the wings make my dog tip sideways in the water?
No. The wings are flat reflective panels sewn onto the back, not add-on floats. All the buoyancy comes from the foam inside the vest, so your dog stays level.
Does chlorine or salt water ruin the reflective panels?
Rinse the vest with fresh water after each swim and the panels hold up fine. Chlorine and salt are only a problem when they're left to dry on the fabric.
Can my dog wear this in a kayak or on a boat, not just for swimming?
