Is the fabric see-through?
No. It's a mid-weight woven polyester with enough body to stay opaque, including in the seat and across the back. No slip needed underneath.
Does the waist have elastic or is it just gathered?
The gathering is held with elastic through the back of the waistband, so it stretches to your shape and stays put through the day. The front stays flat and smooth.
Can I wear this in cooler weather?
Yes. It layers easily under a denim jacket, cardigan, or long coat, and works with ankle boots or loafers when it's cooler out.
How wrinkled does it get after sitting?
Very little. Unlike pure cotton, this polyester weave releases creases as you move, so it looks the same after a long lunch as it did when you left.
