Is the embroidery scratchy against the skin?
No — each butterfly is embroidered onto soft mesh with a smooth backing. The fabric is 92% polyester and 8% spandex, so it stretches gently without irritation.
Does the nightdress have any bust support?
The cups are lightly structured with soft lining at the bust. There's no underwire — the support comes from the adjustable straps and the fitted cup shape. Best for A through D cups.
How sheer is the mesh?
Very sheer. The mesh is ultra-fine and nearly transparent between the embroidered sections. The butterflies provide decorative coverage, but this is designed as intimate wear, not sleepwear with full coverage.
