Will this work if my gap is uneven?
Yes. The flexible silicone conforms to uneven gaps between 0-0.5 inches. It bends with your door frame without losing its seal.
Can I remove it later without damaging paint?
The adhesive is strong but can be removed with gentle pulling and a bit of rubbing alcohol. Some residue may remain on painted surfaces.
