Is the fabric actual denim?
It's a soft-touch denim-look weave — the polish of denim with the drape of a dress. Lighter than jeans, softer on the skin, and it holds its shape all day.
Will the V-placket gape open when I move?
The buttons are spaced to hold the placket closed through normal movement. If you prefer extra coverage, layer a thin tank underneath — it disappears under the collar.
Is the ruffle hem too much for someone over 40?
The tier sits low and falls flat at the hip — it reads as movement, not volume. Most buyers in their 40s and 50s say it lengthens rather than overwhelms.
Can I wear it in warm weather?
