How long do I need to leave it in?
For best results, sleep with it overnight (6–8 hours). For looser waves, you can wear it for 2–3 hours during the day.
Does it work on short hair?
It works best on medium to long hair (shoulder-length or longer). Hair shorter than the chin may not wrap fully around the tentacles.
Should I put it in wet or dry hair?
Slightly damp hair holds curls best. Towel-dry until your hair is about 80% dry, then wrap.
Will the curls last all day?
Yes — most users report curls holding from morning through evening, sometimes longer with a light hairspray.
- Step 1: Wash and towel-dry hair until about 80% dry.
- Step 2: Place the headband on your head and secure with the velcro strap.
- Step 3: Wrap small sections of hair around each tentacle and secure the end with the elastic loop.
- Step 4: Sleep in it overnight. In the morning, unwrap and finger-comb for soft, bouncy curls.
