Will this match my furniture's color exactly?
We offer 6 color options to match most leather tones. Check the color swatches and choose the closest match. Because of the realistic grain, even a slight shade difference blends naturally into most surfaces.
Can I use this on car seats and bags too?
Yes. Hidefix works on sofas, car interiors, office chairs, handbags, motorcycle seats, and any smooth leather or vinyl surface.
Does it leave residue if I remove it?
No. The adhesive is designed to bond firmly but peel cleanly without leaving sticky residue on the surface underneath.
Can I wash or wipe down the patched area?
Absolutely. The PU leather surface is waterproof and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, just like regular leather.
- Step 1: Clean the damaged area with a damp cloth and let it dry completely.
- Step 2: Cut the patch to the shape and size you need using regular scissors. Leave about half an inch of overlap around the damage.
- Step 3: Peel the adhesive backing and press the patch firmly onto the surface. Smooth out any air bubbles from the center outward.
- Step 4: For best results, press firmly for 30 seconds. The bond strengthens over the next 24 hours.
