Can I apply it over existing caulk?
Yes, as long as the old caulk is dry, intact, and free of active mold. Wipe it down, let it dry fully, then press Seamly™ over the top for a fresh white finish.
Will it hold up in a daily-use shower?
Yes. The PVC surface and strong adhesive are made for constant moisture. Warming it gently with a hair dryer during install gives the firmest seal.
What surfaces does it stick to?
Tile, glass, acrylic, marble, stainless steel, and smooth painted walls. Surface must be clean and fully dry before applying.
Can I cut it to fit small areas?
Yes. Use regular scissors to trim to any length or shape. Great for short runs around faucets or toilet bases.
- Step 1: Clean the seam with soap and water. Dry it completely — any moisture weakens the bond.
- Step 2: Measure and cut your length with scissors. Leave an extra inch for trimming.
- Step 3: Peel a few inches of backing. Press the tape along the seam, folding it into the corner using the center crease.
- Step 4: Smooth with your finger as you go. Warm with a hair dryer for extra hold if desired.
