Does the lace-up front give any bust support?
Yes. The laces pull the cups closer together and hold their tension once knotted. It's light shaping support rather than underwire support, so it suits small to mid busts best.
Is the fabric see-through when wet?
No. The polyester is lined at the bust and seat, so it stays opaque in and out of the water.
Can I swim laps in it, or is it just for lounging?
It handles swimming fine. Double-knot the side ties and tuck the ends before you get in, and it stays where you set it.
How do I keep the laces from loosening through the day?
Pull them snug, tie a double knot, then tuck the loose ends behind the lacing. That holds the tension without needing to retie.
