Is the knit see-through in lighter colors?
No, the brushed fine-gauge knit has a closed weave, so it stays opaque even in cream and beige. You can wear it buttoned on its own without a camisole underneath.
Does the button placket gape at the bust?
The buttons are spaced closely through the chest to keep the front lying flat. If you're fuller busted, wearing it open over a fitted tee is the easiest way to keep the line clean.
How short is "cropped" — will it show my midriff?
