Does the mesh hem need a slip underneath?
No. The mesh panel sits at the bottom of the dress, well below anything you'd want covered. It's there for movement, not coverage.
Can I machine wash it, or does the mesh need special care?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and it's fine. Turn it inside out and skip the dryer — that protects the mesh from catching on anything in the drum.
Will it wrinkle in a suitcase?
Very little. The knit blend springs back on its own. Hang it for an hour after unpacking and the fold lines drop out.
Is it warm enough for cooler weather, or is it a summer dress?
