Does it catch bees too?
The trap is designed for wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets, which are drawn to sweet bait like sugar water or juice. Honeybees can occasionally enter but are less attracted to these baits. To further reduce bee catch, hang the trap away from flowering plants.
How long does the solar charge last at night?
After a full day of direct sun, the LED runs for several hours into the evening — long enough to catch the most active night flyers like moths and fruit flies.
What bait works best?
Sugar water, fruit juice, soda, or overripe fruit pieces work well. For wasps in late summer, a small piece of meat or fish can also be effective.
How often do I empty it?
Most users empty and refill every 1–2 weeks during peak season. Just twist off the lid, dump, rinse, and refill.
