Can I wear it in steady rain, or just a light drizzle?
Steady rain. Water beads on the outer face and runs off rather than soaking through. The seams at the shoulders and hood are reinforced, which is where most jackets let water in first.
Does the hood stay up when it's windy?
Yes. The collar drawcord pulls the hood in close around your face so gusts don't flip it back. Loosen it and the hood sits flatter when you don't need it.
Will it still breathe if I zip it all the way up?
It will. The venting works through interior channels, not through an open zipper. You can close it fully in a downpour and still move air.
Is it quiet, or does it crinkle when I walk?
