How do I measure my dog's paw?
Have your dog stand on a piece of paper and press gently on the paw so it spreads. Trace around it, then measure the width and length in inches. Match those numbers to the size chart and round up if you land between sizes.
How tight should the strap be?
Snug enough that you can slide one finger under it, no tighter. If it's loose enough for two fingers, the boot will work its way down.
My dog hates anything on her feet. Any tips?
Put them on indoors for five minutes with a treat, then take them off. Do that a few times before the first real walk. Most dogs stop noticing them by the third try.
Can I put them in the washer?
No. Rinse them under the tap and let them air dry. The washer can loosen the strap glue over time.
- Step 1: Loosen the strap all the way and slide your dog's paw in until it sits flat on the sole.
- Step 2: Pull the boot up so the strap sits above the ankle joint, not on the paw.
- Step 3: Close the strap snug — one finger of room, no more. Takes about 15 seconds per boot.
