Where does the hem land?
The wide leg is cut to fall near the ankle on most heights. If you're under 5'4", it may break at the top of the foot — which still looks intentional with flats or a small heel.
Does the smocked waistband roll down or lose its stretch?
No. The smocking is sewn in rows across the whole waistband, so the stretch is spread out instead of resting on one elastic band. It stays put and snaps back after washing.
Is the fabric see-through?
No. It's a smooth, opaque weave with a soft drape. You can wear it without worrying about what shows in bright light.
