Will the front zip show through a fitted dress?
The zip sits flat against the body and is set into the panel, not raised on top of it. Under most fitted fabrics it stays invisible. Very thin, clingy materials like silky slip dresses are the exception.
Can I sit down and eat a full meal in it?
Yes. The compression is spread across the whole panel instead of one tight band at the waist, so it holds shape without pressing into your stomach when you sit.
What do I do if I'm between sizes?
Go with the larger size. You still get full smoothing from the double closure, and you'll be comfortable enough to keep it on all evening — which is the whole point.
Does it work for a longer torso?
The knit has a lot of vertical stretch, so it adapts to different torso lengths without pulling at the shoulders or riding up at the hips.
