How deep does the water need to be?
The disc must stay fully covered by water at all times. If the water runs low, the mist thins out — just top it up and it picks back up.
Is it safe around fish or plants?
It only vibrates water, so nothing is added to it. Many people run it in ponds and water features, though we'd keep it out of small tanks where the water level drops fast.
Does it make noise?
Very little. You'll hear a soft hum up close, and usually nothing at all once the water is moving.
Can I leave it running all evening?
