Are these see-through in the lighter colors?
No. The cotton-linen-like polyester blend has enough weight to stay opaque, even in the white and cream. Held up in bright sunlight, they don't show what's underneath.
How does the length hit — mid-calf or below the knee?
They sit just below the knee on most heights. On taller women (5'8"+) they may hit slightly higher. The cuffed hem lets you adjust the length by rolling it up or down.
Do the drawstring pants stay in place, or slip down?
The elastic waistband does the work — the drawstring is there for fine-tuning. They stay put through a full day of walking, sitting, and errands.
Are they machine washable?
Yes. Machine wash cold with similar colors, hang dry. The cotton-linen blend softens beautifully after the first wash.
