Will it hang over the ends of my table?
On a 6-seat table you'll get a short drop on each end, which is the look most people want. On a longer 8-seat table it sits closer to flush. Measure your tabletop length and subtract 72 inches to see your drop.
Can I use it on a kitchen island or a dresser?
Yes. Plenty of customers use it on islands, buffets, sideboards, and long dressers. Just check that your surface is at least 13 inches deep.
Does it need ironing after it comes out of the package?
Usually not. Fold lines relax within a few hours once it's laid flat. If you want it crisp right away, a warm iron on low works fine.
Is it slippery on a bare wood table?
It lies flat and stays put under plates and centerpieces. On a very glossy finish, a couple of small non-slip pads underneath will keep it from shifting.
