Can I leave it outside uncovered in winter?
Yes. The synthetic fibers don't absorb water the way real jute does, so rain and snow won't rot the weave. Shake off heavy snow so it dries faster.
Does it feel scratchy on bare feet?
It has a firm, textured surface built for shoes, not a soft indoor rug. Most people find it fine barefoot for a few steps, but it's made for the outside of the door.
Will the color fade in direct sun?
The fibers are made to hold their color outdoors. Very strong all-day sun may lighten the tone slightly over a long time, which is normal for any outdoor mat.
Can I use it indoors instead?
