Do I need a sewing machine?
A machine makes it faster, but the seams are simple enough to hand-stitch. Many people finish theirs by hand in an evening.
Can my child help with this?
Yes. The straight seams are easy to follow, and the appliqué pieces are already shaped. Younger hands usually do best with the simple side seams while you handle the details.
Do I need to buy anything else?
