Wood Look Grain, Dark Iron Like Mane, Quiet Character
Some shelves look bought.
This one looks collected.
The Harlowe Forge horse brings warmth to a flat console table — the kind of piece a guest stops at and asks about.
A chunky wood body against slender dark metal legs and a fan-shaped mane gives it a two-tone shape you don't get from a single carved block.
It sits there like it's been in the family a while.
Solid weight in the base — it stays put when you dust around it.
The piece guests actually ask about
✓ The piece guests actually ask about
One sculptural shape on a flat shelf does more than three candles ever will. The horse breaks up all those straight lines with something warm and unexpected.
✓ Two materials, one silhouette
Most animal decor is carved from one thing. This pairs a chunky wood-look body with slim dark metal legs, tail and a fan mane — so it reads sculptural, not souvenir.
✓ Real grain you can see up close
Visible wood texture and a soft aged finish, not a flat printed pattern. It looks lived-in from across the room and holds up when someone picks it up.
✓ Moves from mantel to bookshelf in seconds
No hanging, no assembly, nothing to set up. Put it down where the surface feels empty and you're done.

Is it heavy enough to stay put on an open shelf?
Yes. The base carries most of the weight, so it sits steady on flat surfaces. It's not a lightweight hollow piece.
Can I put it outside on a covered porch?
We'd keep it indoors. The finish is made for interior display and outdoor moisture can dull it over time.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth. Skip sprays and polish — they can build up in the textured areas.
Does the finish look the same as the photos?
Each piece has its own grain pattern and finish variation, so no two are identical. That's part of the look, not a flaw.
