Product description

Button-Down Shirt Already Right, Before You Even Decide

Some mornings you just want to reach for one thing and be done.

Everwear is that thing.

It goes over the jeans already on the chair, and it looks like you planned it.

Most plaid shirts hang like a box. This one has a curved shirttail hem, so it tucks clean instead of squaring you off.

The hem falls between 25.5 and 28.5 inches, depending on size — long enough to wear out, short enough to tuck.

The Hem That Actually Tucks

✓ Goes with the jeans you already own
Soft gingham in ten colorways, each one easy beside denim, black pants, or white trousers. Nothing new to buy to make it work.

✓ Tucks clean instead of looking boxy
The curved shirttail hem sits flat at the waist. Tuck it, half-tuck it, or leave it loose — all three read as intentional.

✓ No stiff, scratchy first week
Smooth, lightweight fabric that feels broken-in from the first wear. No waiting five washes for it to soften up.

✓ Three ways to wear one shirt
Buttoned as a shirt. Open over a tee. Sleeves rolled for warm afternoons. One piece, all week.

✓ Still looks pressed at 5pm
The fabric resists wrinkles and holds its shape, so a long day in the car doesn't show on you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear this open as a layer over a t-shirt?
Yes. The relaxed cut leaves room for a tee or thin tank underneath. The full button placket means it works closed or hanging open.

Do the sleeves stay rolled up?
The buttoned cuffs let you fold the sleeve up and secure it. Rolled to the forearm, it holds through the day.

Will it look too casual for the office?
Buttoned up and tucked, it reads as a proper shirt. Left loose over jeans, it reads weekend. Same shirt, two very different rooms.

Is it warm enough for fall?
It's a lightweight shirt, not a jacket. On its own it's right for mild days, and it layers well under a cardigan or vest when the temperature drops.

"Real pockets!"

“The Everdrape maxi is so comfortable and it has real pockets, not the fake kind. I'm 68 and don't love my arms, the puff sleeves cover just enough. Will order another color.”

"Very flattering"

“Wasn't sure the twist waist would work on my figure, I'm a size 16. It actually defines the waist without hugging the hips. Very flattering, ordered form them again the same week.”
