Is it safe to use on puppies or older dogs?
Yes. The rounded blade tips make it gentle enough for puppies over 4 months and senior dogs.
How often should I use it?
For long or double-coated breeds, once or twice a week works well.
Will it work on cats with matted fur?
Yes. The 19-tooth side works well on long-haired cats.
How do I clean it?
Pull collected hair off the blades by hand. The stainless steel head can be rinsed under the tap.
- Step 1: Brush your pet first with a regular comb to find any heavy tangles.
- Step 2: Use the 10-tooth side on mats with light, short strokes.
- Step 3: Flip to the 19-tooth side to lift loose undercoat in longer, smoother passes.
